Noir in Charcoal is a new figurative series exploring the male form through dramatic light, shadow, texture, and contrast. Created digitally in Rebelle 8 using charcoal media, the works strip away color to focus on gesture, expression, and the quiet intensity of the figure. Soft atmospheric grays meet deep, velvety blacks in a collection that feels intimate, timeless, and distinctly SplashBear.

The series will make its exhibition debut at Paws, Claws and Creativity at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, with an opening reception on September 19 from 3–5 p.m.
